Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Sharekit ("Service"), operated at sharekit.in. By using Sharekit, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use Sharekit. By creating an account, you confirm that you are 13 or older. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian permission.

2. Your account

When you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Keeping your password confidential and secure
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access at support@sharekit.in

You may not share your account with others or create multiple accounts to circumvent plan limits.

3. Acceptable use

You may use Sharekit only for lawful purposes. You agree not to upload, share, or distribute:

• Content that is illegal under Indian law or the laws of the recipient's country
• Malware, viruses, ransomware, or any malicious software
• Copyrighted content you do not have the right to distribute
• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — this will result in immediate account termination and reporting to authorities
• Content that harasses, threatens, or harms other individuals
• Spam or unsolicited bulk transfers

4. Plan limits

Each plan has monthly transfer and storage limits. If you exceed your plan limits, transfers will be paused until the next billing cycle or until you upgrade. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that consistently attempt to circumvent plan limits.

5. Payment terms

Pro and Unlimited plan payments are processed by Cashfree. By purchasing a plan, you agree to Cashfree's payment terms. Prices are shown in Indian Rupees (₹) and include applicable taxes.

Subscriptions are not automatically renewed through Sharekit — you will receive a reminder email before your plan expires. Refund requests within 7 days of payment will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Contact support@sharekit.in.

6. File storage and deletion

Files are stored temporarily based on your plan (3 days free, up to 30 days Pro, indefinitely on Unlimited). After the expiry date, files are permanently and irreversibly deleted. Sharekit is not a backup service — do not rely on us as your only copy of important files.

7. Intellectual property

You retain all rights to the files you upload. By uploading files, you grant Sharekit a limited, non-exclusive license to store and deliver those files solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you and your recipients.

The Sharekit name, logo, and product are the intellectual property of Sharekit. You may not use them without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Sharekit is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that files will never be lost due to technical failures. We recommend keeping your own copies of important files.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sharekit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including loss of data or files. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@sharekit.in.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in India.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Significant changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of Sharekit after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
